New Hawk Headliner Released!

Many Hawk Eye News viewers may have received a NEW issue of the Red Oak ISD Community Newsletter featuring more great news from inside our district. UPDATED – Mr. & Ms. Red Oak Pageant Coming Soon!

Mr. & Ms. Red Oak Pageant Contestants Getting “Fired Up” for Big Event on February 27th – Around Red Oak ISD the buzz has started, who will be the 2010 Mr. & Ms. Red Oak? The annual fun filled pageant sponsored the Project Success Drug Education Parents Committee will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the Red Oak High School Cafeteria.
This year the pageant has a full slate of contestants representing all schools in the district along with Little Hawks Day Care and Red Oak ISD Transportation Departments. Each contestant this year seems to have a team of managers and assistants helping so this should be one of the best pageants ever. At 5:45 p.m. you can come on in and get some wonderful made on site CiCi’s pizza, drinks, and more at the cafe. You can also pick up your raffle tickets for some awesome prizes that will be given away during the pageant.

ROHS HADDIT Hosts Mentor Dance!

The Red Oak High School Hawks Against Destructive Decisions – Inspiring Teens (HADD-IT) organization hosted a mentor dance for Red Oak I.S.D. fifth and sixth graders at the Red Oak High School Cafeteria. The mentor program run by HADD-IT was designed to connect the younger students of Red Oak to the drug-free students of Red Oak High School.
