Rachel graduated in
2004 as a 4 year member of the Hawk Eye News Team. Rachel
became the desk anchor her Junior year, along with
Heather
Blackwood. As the first news anchors on the show, Rachel,
Heather and Brian began their days of reporting behind a
fold out table in front of the chromo key at the Red Oak ISD
Administration Office. Rachel grew into the ultimate
professional anchor in her time on the show. In her senior
year, she became lead anchor and worked with and mentored
Christian Henson. Rachel was involved in many organizations
in school including being an officer in the drill team,
President of HADDIT, and a main character actor in the 2004
Shattered Dreams. As one of the original pioneers of the
show, Rachel became the face most recognized by early
viewers. Rachel is currently in college at Texas State
University in San Marcos.
