Pageant Details
Project Success holds one big fund raising
event each Year called the
Mr. & Ms. Red Oak Pageant. This
pageant is a fun night of laughs as many of our school
employees participate in a pageant. This pageant puts these
men and women in categories of Casual Wear, Formal Wear,
Beach Wear, and Talent. This event is not a serious pageant
and Is filled with laughs for the hundreds who attend each
year. The pageant raises funds to support the Project
Success Scholarship Fund. If you would like to become

2007 Highlights
The 2007 Mr. & Mrs. Red Oak Pageant featured outstanding
acts from each contestant. All the contestants did a
fantastic job, and the big winners were Drug Free Red Oak
High School Seniors, who will receive financial scholarships
later this year. Red Oak High School Choir Members as well
as Eastridge Elementary and Wooden Elementary Choir Students
provided entertainment. Also performing and doing a great
job was the Red Oak Jr. High Highsteppers Drill Team who
performed under the direction of their sponsor Mrs. Diane
Holden. Pageant coordinator Michele Boerder & Stage designer
Donna Knight also received a special gift from the parents
committee for all her hard work on the pageant again this
year. Pageant coordinators reported the event raised over
$5000.00 for drug free Red Oak ISD students. A special
thanks also goes out from Project Success to Red Oak
Elementary, Wooden and Shields who took part in a penny
campaign that raised over 2000.00. Red Oak Elementary
Principal Rachel Kistner and the Project Success
representative for ROE Blake Sapp presented a large check
with their winning amount to Chief Lindsey. Mr. Sellman also
made presentations for Wooden and a group of students from
Shields who represented their school. The pageant was a
great deal of fun for all who attended and you can check the
