Allen J. Oliver Productions in association with Steve Patterson and KBEC "Classic Country" 1390AM has produced this historical look back at the 2007-2008 Hawks Football season. "After realizing what was happening, I felt it was important to gather as much material from KBEC, Steve and our Hawks Eye News video coverage and begin planning for a documentary style video that would bring the feeling and the power this season has had on all of us to the video screen", stated Hawk Eye News Producer Allen J. Oliver. The Hawks were a team that had a winless district record for the past three seasons and finished 0-10 in 2004 and 2005. Coach Shields not only led the Hawks to their first district win in three seasons, but also to a playoff berth for the first time in 23 years. Red Oak competed in one of the toughest Class 4A districts in the state, knocking off two of the big three, all of which were top area teams and at one time were state ranked.
