Objective
It is our hope that these young
students may be some of the faces of the future for Hawk
Eye News and will continue to develop into positive
leaders in their schools. The students are very well
behaved and showed wonderful manners and attention. It
is great to see that there are many younger students who
will be there to carry on the traditions of Hawk Eye
News.
Each year the Hawk Eye News team members visit
classrooms at Red Oak Elementary, Wooden Elementary,
Shields Elementary and Eastridge Elementary to talk
students about leadership skills and how to be a good
role model.
In 2004, Brady Sapp, Christian Henson and Rachel Selvey
were lucky enough to visit the classroom of some great
4th grade students at Wooden Elementary to talk to them
about what it like to be part of Hawk Eye News
In 2005, the Hawk Eye News team traveled in groups to
Wooden Elementary to visit with 4th graders, to
Eastridge Elementary to visit with 2nd graders and to
Red Oak Elementary to visit with both 3rd & 4th grade
students. News team members shared with them the topic
of leadership, as well as to answer questions about the
news show.
The news team had a great time signing autographs for
many younger viewers, and enjoyed talking to them about
leadership you can depend. Along with producers Allen &
Kimberly Oliver, and program sponsor Chief Lindsey, the
team was able to show off the new Hawk Eye News web site

Studio Tour
Welcome to the Hawk Eye News Studio. The
home of the official Network of Hawk Eye News, Produced by
Allen J. Oliver Production in association with Project
Success / HADDIT. The pilot episode of Hawk Eye News was
first recorded at the ROISD Administration Building, all on
Chroma-key in 2002.
Red Oak ISD donated an unoccupied classroom at the
Acorn Academy and the cast and crew moved into the
new Hawk Eye News studio just in time for the taping
of their 2nd episode.
The studio is complete with a professional news
desk. Special thanks to Mr. Bill Miller.
Full size Chroma-Key Wall. Special thanks to
Mr. Johnny Knight
The Hawk Eye News Sports Center.
In 2003, we added a new backdrop to the set - an
original painting of the Red Oak High School Hawk
Mascot from Eyeful Art, Inc.
In 2003, the News Team was awarded second place in
the nation for best high school news show by Varsity
Television. Hawk Eye News is proud to be on the air
after 5 seasons and 50 episodes.
With the generosity of our sponsors, as well as
Project Success and Red Oak ISD, the show will
continue to bring the good news around Red Oak ISD
and the Community. We thank the ROISD Board of
Trustees, Superintendent and the entire faculty and
staff of ROISD
