Mr. & Ms. Red Oak Pageant Results!!

The annual Mr. and Mrs. Red Oak Pageant was held on February 27th. The Theme this year was ” Red Oak’s Got Talent “. At this year’s Mr. and Mrs. Red Oak Pageant, coordinated by Kayla Mattox, contestants competed in three categories: beach wear, talent and formal wear.

All of the contestants worked hard preparing themselves in hopes of winning the coveted title of Mr. and Mrs. Red Oak, which was awarded to Mariana Ospina from Wooden Elementary and Red Oak Intermediate’s Billy Oakley last year.
The honor of Mr. & Ms. Red Oak was awarded to Tim Day from Red Oak Intermediate for Mr. Red Oak and Rebecca Vega from Wooden Elementary for Ms. Red Oak! The show raised over $7,000 that will go towards purchasing educational anti-drug materials and scholarships for Red Oak High School seniors through the Project Success Drug Education Program.

Red Oak ISD Parent of the Year 2010

Red Oak ISD’s Practical Parenting Education hosted the Fifth Annual Phyllis Dodd Memorial Parent of the Year Awards on February 11th at the new Shields Elementary School. This event marks the celebration of 20 years of Practical Parent Education and 15 years of Parent of the Year awards.

Regional DI Tournament Results!

ROE 100th Day Celebration!

Kindergarten teacher, Amy Mashburn helps her student, Nevaeh Gonzalez put on her necklace made of 100 pieces of cereal for the 100th Day of School at Red Oak Elementary.
